Dock Leveller Pits & Concrete Loading Platforms

Civil construction for industrial loading docks: dock leveller pits and concrete platforms built to supplied architectural, engineering and equipment requirements.

THE WORK WE DO

Loading dock pit and platform civil works

Silver Lake Construction undertakes the civil construction scope for dock leveller pits and loading platforms. Foundations, brickwork and reinforced concrete slabs are discussed against the supplied drawings, site conditions and equipment requirements.

Supplied drawings and equipment requirements

Available architectural and engineering drawings, together with the relevant equipment requirements, form the basis of the construction discussion. SLC builds to supplied requirements; independent engineering design is not part of this service.

South Gate Industrial Park platform

At South Gate Industrial Park, SLC completed a dock leveller platform, built from scratch with foundations, face brickwork and a reinforced concrete slab. Photographs show foundation reinforcement, concrete placement and the completed platform.

Civil construction, not machinery services

SLC’s scope is the pit or platform civil works. It does not include dock leveller machinery supply, installation, repairs or servicing. Keep the construction and equipment requirements distinct when describing your loading area.
